Hi! For those of you who have participated or are going to participate -
PLEASE SEND ME A MESSAGE SAYING YOU HAVE DONATED (or send me one once you do donate). This is very important. The amount that I have claiming they have donated does NOT match what PAWSLA has at the moment - so we are trying to get this all figured out. Please be honest, too.
Please Reblog this so it gets around to everyone! THANKS!

Paula’s 50th birthday is approaching fast and we would like to make it a memorable one for her. That’s why we came up with a very special birthday project that we hope will not only bring her joy and give her a reason to be proud of her fans, but that will also genuinely benefit a charity that is near and dear to her heart.
The charity we have chosen is PAWSLA because it is one of the charities that Paula personally endorses. They have also been very helpful with setting up this birthday project and they will contact Paula for her birthday to let her know what we have done and how much we have raised. Right now we are at $200 but we hope that all of us fans together could do so much more.
Please consider taking part in this effort and reblog this message to spread the word on Tumblr. We do ask you, however, to please try not to tweet anything about this yet as we would like to be able to keep this secret from Paula as long as possible.
Stepping out from hiatus to reblog this. It’s the big 50 for Paula so let’s try to make it really special. :)
This is my blog, not an official Saula blog or anything, so no, it’s not really something I’d have thought to give to anyone else to run. There are some other great Saula bloggers too and maybe some of them will decide to continue running theirs. Or if anyone else wants to make a Saula blog, they can do it without taking over somebody else’s. I’m not deleting this so everything that I’ve posted will remain here. :)
Thank you. ♥ This is a sad way for it all to end. :(
Thank you. ♥ I wish it didn’t have to end this way.

Day 22. Saddest Saula moment (repost)
“Yes, it’s true; I won’t be returning to The X Factor next season. I’ve learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations. Simon and I, along with Fox and Fremantle, have been communicating about this for a while now, and I have absolute understanding of the situation. Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine and I’ve treasured my experience working this past season with my extended family at Fox and Fremantle. I want nothing more than for The X Factor to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful.” - Paula Abdul

Well, not officially confirmed yet, but at this point I think the confirmation is just a matter of time. Everything points to this being true.
I agree, except for the part about adoring him. I’ll remain a Paula fan, but there’ll be no room for Saula anymore.
